Generating your CPD certificate through PReP:
The current CPD year (1 April 2013 – 31 March 2014) will draw to a close on Monday. For those of you either using the PReP system for revalidation or the CPD diary element only, certificates must be self-generated using the system during the period 1 April – 30 June 2014.
It is important that your CPD for this year is up to date on the system by Friday 30 June 2014, because this will be the date that we formally record your CPD on our Faculty systems and therefore formally log your participation in the Faculty’s CPD scheme.
For those revalidating through the Faculty, once you have generated your certificate, you can upload it into the ‘Supporting Information’ section of your portfolio, ahead of your next appraisal.
A short step by step guide on how to print your certificate is available on the ‘Help’ section of PReP.
Submitting your Paper CPD Return to the Faculty:
If you are not using the Faculty’s online CPD diary, you have the option to submit your CPD return by paper and we will issue a certificate from the Faculty by post. You will need to return your forms to the Faculty office, by 30 June 2014. There will be a late fee of £54 + VAT for returns submitted after the 30 June 2014. Please note that you are required to submit forms 1 and 6 only, which are available to download from the Faculty’s website.
The forthcoming CPD year, 2014-15, will be the final year for which paper submissions will be accepted.
If you require access to the CPD diary (and are not already revalidating through the Faculty), please email email@example.com.
