Are you a GP with the Faculty Diploma in Occupational Medicine?

We are looking for some GPs who hold the Diploma to assist with the Faculty stand at the RCGP conference in Glasgow on 3-5 October.

The Faculty works with GPs on a number of fronts, including the Healthy Working UK website http://www.healthyworkinguk.co.uk/and other educational initiatives – eg http://www.fom.ac.uk/education/education-for-gps.  In order to promote this work, the Faculty is having a stand at the RCGP exhibition for the second year running, when we shall be taking the opportunity to talk to GPs about various aspects of work in occupational medicine,  including taking the Diploma in Occupational Medicine.

It would be very helpful if some GPs who have taken the Diploma could be present at the stand at some points during the conference. This would mean that any GPs interested in knowing what the course and the examination are like, and how it might help their work, could talk to a colleague who has been through the process.

If you are attending the conference in Glasgow and would be willing to attend the stand during one of the breaks, we should be very grateful.  If you are able to do this or would like to know more, please email: may.elphinstone@fom.ac.uk.
