The Faculty of Occupational Medicine provides education and training in occupational medicine, from resources for medical students through to information for those wishing to train as specialist occupational physicians.
As well as being responsible for postgraduate specialist training in occupational medicine, FOM offers qualifications for non specialist doctors, and also some which are appropriate for other occupational health professionals. Competency Framework for Newly Qualified Doctors
Dr Richard Peters has led a working group who have developed learning outcomes in occupational medicine for medical students. The working group plan to develop a collection of educational materials to help medical schools ensure that their students achieve these outcomes.
