Annual Meeting review

The Faculty’s Annual Scientific Meeting, AGM and Annual Dinner took place on 28 May at the Royal College of Physicians in London.

The day was a great success, starting with a wide range of presentations on themes including; the ageing workforce; the new single organisation for occupational health; and several new Members speaking about their dissertation projects.

In addition, Sir Anthony Newman Taylor delivered the 2014 McCallum lecture; a fascinating retrospective on the work of Sir Austin Bradford Hill.

The conference was followed by the AGM and annual dinner, at which Sir Richard Thompson, President of the RCP, delivered an excellent speech.

A full review of the day is available on the Faculty website.
