Health for Health Professionals – Invitation to become a FOM trainer

The Faculty is seeking trainers for the Health for Health Professionals (HHP) work stream.  The Faculty has held several HHP training days since 2010 and would now like to develop a group of trainers to help deliver future training sessions.

The HHP work stream, led by Drs Debbie Cohen and Hamish Paterson, is CPD training for members wishing to enhance their practice in working with doctors and other health professionals.  For more information on the programme, including the training dates for 2013, please visit the HHP homepage on the Faculty website.  There you will also find the link to an RCGP e-learning module on this work stream, which offers a convenient way to get an overview into this emerging area of study.

If you are interested in becoming an HHP trainer, please check that the below are applicable to you:

• Have attended at least one previous Faculty HHP training day
• Available to attend a training day on Tuesday 30 April 2013 at the Faculty’s London office
• Committed to help deliver HHP training to Faculty members, to actively contribute to the HHP agenda by sharing good practice and developing the training

To register your interest, please reply to Patrick.cullen@fom.ac.uk confirming which HHP training session(s) you have previously attended and your availability the training day by Wednesday 13 March 2013.

Formal details of the 2013-14 training days will be advertised shortly, so if you are interested in this training look out for more news both on the website and in forthcoming newsletters soon.
