Trainee

Trainee membership (Specialist/Specialty Registrar membership) is available only to those currently on/enrolled in a recognised specialty training scheme. Trainees are automatically eligible for admission to trainee membership on enrolment with the Faculty.

There is a representative of trainees on the Faculty Board who can be contacted via the member login.

Education & Training

The Faculty offers both specialist and non-specialist qualifications in occupational medicine and related subjects.

Publications, policy, guidance & consultations

The Faculty produces, and regularly updates, a range of publications on occupational health and medicine. It also acts as an authoritative voice, responding to consultations and publishing position papers on the topics of the day.

Health at Work

A key aim of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine is to improve health in the workplace by providing sound sources of advice and information for employees and employers.

Standards for occupational health services

As part of its commitment to improving the quality of practice in occupational health, the Faculty runs the Health and Work Development Unit and SEQOHS, the accreditation system for occupational health services.
