The British Medical Association (BMA) awards research grants each year (totalling approximately £500,000) to encourage and further medical research in a variety of areas.
One of these grants, the Joan Dawkins, funds research into doctors’ health and well being. Applications are invited from medical doctors or research scientists working in the UK. Research proposals can be for either research in progress or prospective research.
Details of funding available, deadlines and contact details for the BMA Research Grants can all be on the BMA website.
