Have you identified your Responsible Officer for revalidation?

A letter has been sent to  Faculty members to alert them to the need to identify their Responsible Officer, for purposes of revalidation.

The letter explains that although it should be straightforward for doctors working in the NHS or in formal training programmes to ascertain who their Responsible officer is, this information may not be readily available for doctors working for other employers or independently.  The Faculty of Occupational Medicine is a designated body under the Responsible Officer Regulations 2010 and so will be providing access to a Responsible Officer.  More information is given in the letter and, as further details become available, updates will be posted on the Responsible Officer page of the Faculty website.
