Unique opportunity to shape the future of occupational health

Vacancies – Single Organisation Shadow Board

The Faculty and Society of Occupational Medicine are considering creating a new single organisation for occupational health.  This will be dependent on a membership vote, to be held later in the year. To discover more about why the single organisation offers a compelling vision for the future of occupational health, visit the dedicated website for the project.

In the meantime, the Faculty and Society are undertaking the necessary preparatory work. As a key part of this, the Boards of the Faculty and Society have now agreed to appoint a Shadow Board to provide governance and direction, and to oversee the work of the single organisation working group.

The membership of the Shadow Board will reflect the multidisciplinary profile of the proposed new single organisation for occupational health and the skills needed to set up the new organisation.

For further details please see the background to the roles required and the person specification.

Full details, including how to apply to join the shadow board, are available on the single organisation website.

Completed application forms should be sent to Patrick Cullen (patrick.cullen@fom.ac.uk) by 5 00 pm on Wed 30 Apr 2014.
