Training the next generation of occupational medicine physicians is a critical part of the work of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. FOM’s primary functions relating to specialty training include:
- Managing specialty training in occupational medicine with the National School of Occupational Health
- Setting the Part 1 MFOM [1] and Part 2 MFOM [2] examinations and assessments [3] for Specialty Registrars
- Approval at end of training and recommendation for specialist registration
- Ensuring specialty training in occupational medicine is kept up-to-date with current and best practice
